Mikaela, looking stunning in her wedding gown, descended the grand staircase, leaving her bridesmaids in awe of her elegance. Meanwhile, John and his groomsmen enjoyed a fun photo session in the Woodhaven Billiard Lounge and along the pathway to the pool and pool house.

Once the getting-ready photos were complete, Mikaela met John on the balcony overlooking the Blue Stone Terrace for their first look. Here, they exchanged private vows, a moment of intimacy and love before the festivities began. The couple even shared a quick dance in the Wedgeroom Ballroom, which would later transform into their reception and dinner space following the ceremony.

The ceremony took place on the Blue Stone Terrace, overlooking the tranquil James River. The setting was adorned with white flowers and vibrant pink peonies, creating a breathtaking backdrop for Mikaela and John’s ceremony.

After the ceremony, guests moved to the Cameo and Wedgeroom Ballroom for cocktail hour and dinner. The couple added a personal touch to the celebration with fun cocktails dedicated to their beloved cats. A heartfelt toast was shared in the dining room, where the bridal party raised their glasses of champagne to the newlyweds.

The evening continued with dancing and cake cutting in the Cameo Ballroom, where laughter and joy filled the air. As the night came to a close, Mikaela and John made their grand exit on the front lawn, surrounded by the warm glow of sparklers held by their loved ones.
