Matt and Meaghan’s classically themed wedding at The Estate at River Run began in the early evening. The couple kept the occasion sweet and small starting with photoshoots at the Crepe Myrtle Grove preceding dinner on the Blue Stone Terrace.

The bride was stunning in a soft satin gown along with her bridesmaids wearing light blue, flowy dresses with floral patterns. Florals were a prominent part of the aesthetic contributing a delicate charm to the occasion. The invitation suite uses a soft pastel palette, primarily white, blue, and pale green, complemented by intricate floral accents.

The lighting for the day was bright and natural, casting soft shadows, and complimenting the wedding party. The couple and their family and friends took photos together against the estate’s brick façade, framed by the greenery and historic charm of the venue.

As the sun began to set, dinner was served under a canopy of twinkling lights surrounded by breathtaking views of the James River. Long tables draped with linen runners were adorned with more exquisite florals and elegant china, creating a vintage-inspired ambiance. The warm glow of the sunset reflected off the glassware, casting a romantic atmosphere. Guests enjoyed a refined, multi-course meal while the sky turned shades of pink and lavender, with the estate’s sprawling grounds providing a picturesque backdrop. The evening was filled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, and the perfect blend of vintage charm and timeless sophistication, creating an unforgettable celebration.

The night ended with the bride and groom making a grand exit in their vintage ride, as guests waved sparklers, sending them off in timeless elegance and joy.
