On a golden October afternoon, Claire and Aaron tied the knot with the James River flowing gently behind them. It was one of those perfect fall days, the air was crisp, the sun was gleaming, and the trees were just beginning to change colors. With the Estate’s emerald lawns and historic charm as their backdrop, their wedding blended effortlessly with the beauty of the season.

The day began in the Primary Suite, where Claire got ready surrounded by her bridal party in a room full of light and elegance. She wore a timeless strapless gown paired with her “something blue” — a stunning pair of embroidered blue heels. Down by the Pool House, Aaron and his groomsmen shared laughs as they got ready, anticipation building as the ceremony approached.

Before walking down the aisle, Claire shared a heartfelt first look with her father followed by a first look with Aaron just as golden hour light began to pour all across the property. The ceremony took place on the Bluestone Terrace, overlooking the river and adorned by tasteful white and green florals that complemented the natural beauty of the Estate. Their dalmatian, dressed for the occasion, was even in attendance which added a sweet, personal touch that made the moment even more memorable. Adding to the charm were cardboard cutouts of the couple and their other pets, which guests couldn’t stop smiling about. Playful and uniquely them, it added an extra dose of personality to the celebration.

Following the ceremony, guests made their way down to the pool for cocktail hour where a live jazz band set the mood with smooth tunes. A raw bar offered seasonal bites, as the newlyweds stole a moment to enjoy the sunset together. Dinner was held across the Wedgewood and Cameo Ballrooms as well as the Brick Terrace where guests dined by the stunning views of the manor. Every corner of the venue was filled with warmth, laughter, and love. As night fell, the party moved to the Tuscan Ballroom, which transformed into a lively dance floor. From young children to grandparents, everyone joined in as music and dancing flowed into the night. where everyone from old to young grooved the night away.
