Lauren and Zachary’s December 20th wedding at The Estate at River Run was a festive and romantic celebration that perfectly captured the spirit of the season. With a holiday palette of emerald green and rich maroon, every detail was thoughtfully styled to reflect both the couple’s personalities and the magic of Christmastime.

The Estate, dressed in holiday splendor, provided the perfect backdrop. Christmas trees stood tall in nearly every room, twinkling with lights and layered in seasonal elegance. In the Primary Suite, where Lauren and her bridesmaids got ready, a small Christmas tree beside the mirror added a cozy touch and served as the perfect photo spot. The bridal party, dressed in emerald velvet, laughed and captured moments together throughout the suite. Over in the Pool House, Zachary and his groomsmen prepared for the big day.

The day was full of heartfelt first looks, beginning with Lauren’s bridesmaids and followed by her father, a moment filled with pride and emotion. In a fun twist, Lauren’s first look with Zachary in the Cameo Ballroom began with a lighthearted prank when her father playfully stood in for the bride, prompting laughter before the real reveal. Following the first look, they exchanged private vows and thoughtful gifts, including a bracelet and purse for the bride and a book for the groom filled with hand-selected, meaningful memories.

The couple posed for portraits in some of the Estate’s most iconic spaces, including the Wedgewood Ballroom, where the flower girls peeked from the balcony above, the marble foyer, the brick terrace, and the front lawn, where the couple posed beside a vintage car. 

Guests gathered in the Wedgewood Ballroom for the ceremony, where a grand Christmas tree, adorned in gold and blue with sparkling presents underneath, glowed beneath the chandelier. Two sweet flower girls led the procession before Lauren made her entrance on her father’s arm. After exchanging heartfelt vows, Zachary dipped his bride as they made their joyful walk back up the aisle.

Downstairs in the Tuscan Ballroom, the reception embraced seasonal charm and personal details. Tables were named and numbered with custom Christmas cards, each featuring photos of the bride and groom at different ages. Centerpieces included sparkling ornaments, while wreaths adorned the walls and personalized stockings were hung by the fireplace. Guests enjoyed a cozy hot chocolate bar and a whimsical cookie station reminiscent of Santa’s workshop.

Upstairs in the Wedgewood Ballroom, the celebration continued with Lauren and Zachary’s first dance beneath the chandeliers, followed by special dances with their parents and the cutting of a cake featuring a charming fondant replica of their dog, Boone, caught mid-bite.

The night concluded with a glowing tunnel of light sticks, a dazzling farewell to a day full of joy, warmth, and holiday magic.
