Erin & David celebrated their winter wedding on a bright and beautiful January day at The Estate at River Run. With the James River as their backdrop and soft golden light filtering through the estate’s grand windows, their day felt timeless and full of love.
Erin began the morning getting ready with her bridal party in the light-filled Primary Suite, a room as elegant as the bride herself. Downstairs in the Pool House, David and his groomsmen made final preparations, adding the finishing touches to their suits in anticipation of the day ahead.
Erin had a heartfelt first look with her father in the Marble Foyer. Soon after, she made her way outside to meet her groom. As David turned and saw his stunning bride, he couldn’t hold back tears. It was an emotional, unforgettable moment shared between the two before saying ‘I do’.
The ceremony took place in the stunning Wedgewood Ballroom during golden hour. Sunlight spilled through the towering windows, casting a romantic glow across the room as the couple exchanged their vows in front of family and friends. Cocktail hour followed the ceremony between the Cameo Ballroom and the Brick Terrace, where guests mingled while taking in sweeping views of the James River.
As the sun set, the celebration moved into the Tuscan Ballroom, beautifully decorated with elegant gold details. A hilarious and lively wedding party entrance set the tone for heartfelt speeches and a delicious dinner. After their touching first dances, the dance floor came alive and the energy carried through the rest of the evening. Before the night ended, Erin and David shared a private last dance — a quiet, intimate moment between just the two of them, soaking in all the magic of the day. Guests sent the newlyweds off with a sparkler exit to close out the perfect evening.
Erin and David are truly a match made in heaven. Their wedding day was filled with beauty, joy, and heartfelt details that reflected their love in every way.
