Farheen and Kevin’s wedding took place at The Estate at River Run, a luxury wedding venue nestled along the James River. Their celebration seamlessly combined Bengali and Mexican traditions, creating a meaningful fusion that reflected both their cultural backgrounds and their unique love story. A vibrant color palette of rich reds, symbolic of love and passion in Bengali culture, softened by delicate pink tones, struck a perfect balance between bold tradition and romantic elegance.

The day began in the elegant Primary Suite, where Farheen had her makeup applied while preparing to change into a traditional red lehenga, a richly adorned ensemble featuring a long embroidered skirt, a matching blouse, and a flowing scarf. The vibrant hue beautifully showcased her intricate henna designs. Her look was completed with ornate jewelry, including bangles, earrings, and a dazzling necklace, all shimmering with gold and pearl details. Meanwhile, the groom got ready in the Foxhaven Room alongside his closest friends and family, wearing a classic sherwani, a coat-like garment, and a crystal and gold necklace that added an element of style.

With preparations complete, the groom and groomsmen captured moments of camaraderie and excitement on the front porch and in the Woodhaven Billiard Lounge before the ceremony.

Afterward, the wedding party gathered for the ceremony on the Bluestone Terrace. The aisle was lined with delicate flowers and glass blooms set on tall, gold stems, guiding guests to a seating area containing three blush pink couches surrounded by white and pink floral arrangements. A central table adorned with candles and fresh flowers created an intimate focal point. Guests received parasols, offering both comfort and a thoughtful touch to the outdoor setting.

After the heartfelt ceremony, signature “his and hers” drinks were served during cocktail hour poolside, while guests mingled against the backdrop of shimmering water and the soft glow of the sunset.

Following an outfit change into a white wedding dress and a suit, the celebration continued with the reception and dancing on the transformed Bluestone Terrace, overlooking the James River. The cake cutting became a lighthearted moment, ending with the bride playfully smashing a piece into the groom’s face.

The celebration wrapped up with a sparkler exit on the front lawn. As the newlyweds departed beneath a glowing tunnel of light, held aloft by their loved ones, they stepped into their new life surrounded by joy and laughter.
