Marina
Office Administrator
Marina is our friendly Office Administrator. A Pittsburgh-area native, she is a Steelers fan through and through. She has her Associates of Science in General Studies. A naturally curious person, Marina has picked up many credits across multiple fields, from Foreign Languages to Chemistry to Business Administration. Marina considers herself a life-long learner of languages. She is mostly fluent in French (though admittedly a bit rusty without anyone to practice with regularly!), knows some American Sign Language, and is currently learning Spanish.
Outside of work, Marina is a mom of two young boys, and a pup named Hobbes. They always keep her on her toes and exploring the great outdoors! They enjoy everything from swimming to trekking through the woods. They live in a little farmhouse out in Louisa County on nearly 90 acres of land to free-range explore. She also loves reading and all things theatrical. Her creativity thrives when analyzing the latest hit musical, noticing the smallest background details that can really bring just the right touch. This attention to detail is particularly useful when pulling together all the little pieces that make up our extravagant events. Our reigning Queen of Spreadsheets, Marina also enjoys volunteering in her local school system and is a part of the Principal's Advisory Council and PTA at Moss-Nuckols Elementary School.
Marina has always loved Love, and ever since she had to create a business plan for something to benefit her locality (she drafted plans to turn an historic Louisa home into a small wedding venue), Marina has known that the wedding industry was where she belonged. She brings a joyful light and witty humor to The River Run Team and genuinely loves pulling all the details together to help our clients' Big Days go smoothly!
